WORSHIP SERVICES
We worship God because of God’s goodness, beauty, power and love. Our worship services include a blend of contemporary songs and traditional hymns, the sharing of joys and concerns, prayer, and biblical preaching. Everyone is welcome. Please come as you are! Our regular weekly worship service is at 11:15 on Sunday morning. We also have occasional special worship services at different times of the year. One of those is Love Feast, which includes a simple meal, communion, and foot washing, a symbolic act of service following the example of Jesus who washed his disciples’ feet on the night before his death.
SUNDAY SCHOOL AND BIBLE STUDY
We believe it is important to study the Bible because it is our guide for faith and life. Through the Bible, we learn about God’s power and presence in this world and how we can cooperate with God’s reign of justice, love, and peace. Adult Bible Study on Sunday morning is taking a break. Sunday School for children takes place during the last half of our worship service. We occasionally have other Bible studies or spiritual retreats at different times of the year.
GRACE AND GROWTH GROUPS
We believe that spiritual growth is important for every person of faith. Spiritual growth means becoming more in tune with God’s Spirit and more like Jesus in our lives. Such growth happens in community – in and through our relationships with each other. For that reason, we offer small groups called “Grace and Growth Groups,” in which members can grow spiritually in an environment of grace and acceptance. We try to understand how the teachings of the Bible apply to our lives. We share our joys and struggles within a trusted group of friends. And we pray for each other, our church, and our world.
