Service has always been central to our faith. Members of our church organized Garden Terrace (apartments for low-income seniors), and we continue to be involved in its mission. We are active in Serve Wenatchee Valley, a local Christian non-profit which helps the poor. We host a weekly Serve Wenatchee Food Bank and are active in special outreach events throughout the year. Each week clients from the Center for Drug and Alcohol Treatment attend our worship services and participate in our fellowship.
Our church supports Brethren and Baptist evangelism, relief, and development work around the world. We hold monthly prayer vigils for victims of terrorism in Nigeria, home of the largest Brethren national church. We support a Baptist missionary family in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through Ukrainian members of our church, we have developed a special relationship with pastors and missionaries in war-torn eastern Ukraine.
We value strong, cooperative relationships with other churches. We share our building with Trinity Church. (For more information on Trinity Church, visit https://www.trinitywenatchee.org We have a close relationship with Sunnyslope Church, another local Brethren congregation. Through Serve Wenatchee Valley, we interact with many other churches in our Valley. We have a special relationship with Karen Community Church, a congregation in Kent, Washington, made up of refugees from Myanmar (Burma).
